My Verdict 8.0
Love everything about it

I've been quite excited about this release of driver i remember being addicted to the old PS One version and I'm hoping Driver SF retains some of the games original character unlike the rubbish sequels in between.
The game picks up with the main character John Tanner in a coma after a car crash, while in his coma wait for the ridiculous bit he's able to transport into any other drivers body within the game, now i must admit when i read about this it did put me off buying it as its a bit far fetched even for a video game but surprisingly works well it stops the game becoming boring and mundane as you can shift into mini games and drive all sorts from ambulances to trucks, cop cars the whole works and you can also shift from one side of the city to another which will keep you entertained for hours on end.
After playing the game for a couple of hours you really get to see how amazing the graphics are not only in the game play but also the facial & background detail is really awesome. The car handling itself is ok its a bit hard to corner and manoeuvre at times but i love it as it means i can crash into all sorts of things!
There are a lot of different modes and levels to the game enough to keep you entertained the split screen mode is actually my fav you can join up with a friend and compete in missions. The online mode is ok nothing ground breaking but it does the job.
Conclusion
All in all Driver SF is a fun fun game i really enjoyed playing it great arcade action fun, its got all the character and personality of the original driver game and for me has delivered on all fronts. Only negatives are at times the levels can become really difficult and the handling can be hard at times.
Overall With the ridiculous plot and stunning graphics Driver SF is a game which can please both racing car lovers and action gamers not many other games can claim that.
